All quotation is out of context

All quotation is out of context
(Enoch Powell, repeated by Andrew Roberts in an interview with Henry Hopwood-Phillips.)

Lord Weidenfeld was interviewed this morning on BBC radio about antisemitism. Among other things he said was this.
Jews could go to Israel but...the rest?
And he talked of the people of Europe who are stuck with
millions of not-so- friendly people among them.
One more quotation that I found this morning, by Chekhov .
University brings out all abilities, including incapability.
And a left-wing writer in the Guardian this morning waxes elegiac about England and Englishness here, in a sad article called Rescuing the English.
